Internal Heart Defibrilation

I have just seen a anaesthetist shock himself and then die in holby city while the were operating on a patient. They very calmly declared his death. lol

I thought the defibrillator just stopped the heart from beating and then let body’s pacemaker restore a normal rhythm.

Is it to "shock" someone back into life?
In what cases do you use it?

Belive me…this is funny! I went into Atrial Fibrillation and had to be shocked into rythm. They had to use 3 times the normal amount of drugs and i still wsn’t all the way sedated when they first shocked me! I think it’s funny! My wife can’t stand watching it again! Tell your friends to watch it! I want this to make big numbers!

I have an i.c.d (defibrillator) implanted in my chest. Would the
shock from a tazer hurt me or the device? I do not plan on
being in a situation where I would have to be tazed by the
police, but law enforcement isn’t the only ones that have them!
Please help, I’m afraid of being shocked!

Does and one now if infant pads give a lesser shock than adults pad? Why is the positioning different on adults and children? is it life threatning to us adult pads on a child in emergancy sisuation please help.
